swearHe's got a verse on the Currensy project that drops this Sunday, produced by Alchemist. Interested in hearing what he sounds like. I wouldn't mind if Wayne just started writing raps again and releasing dope shyt with dope producers, and not really trying to blow up again. The way for him to make a comeback is to not try to force that shyt. Just make dope music and people will catch on and listen if it's good.
Stop the auto tune and recycled punch lines. I swear listening to his verse on that new Tity Boi made me realize how I keep hearing the same 16 from him.
Better subject matter. He still has the flow though.
Yeah, the project (not sure if it's an EP or LP) is called The Carrollton Heist and is a follow up sequel to the little EP that Currensy and Alchemist did in 2011 called Covert Coup. I don't know if Wayne has a hook, a verse, or both, but he's definitely on the project and it drops on Sunday. Also on the project is Conway & Westside Gunn, and it's not confirmed whether he got them, but Currensy was trying to get Freddie Gibbs, Jadakiss, and Action Bronson all on the project as well. Lil Wayne is the only other feature he confirmed 100% besides Conway & Westside Gunn.swear![]()
There is no such thing as over saturation. He needs to just fall back for a while. The reason nobody checking for him is he over saturated himself. He's put out tooooo much music. I think at his height he had over 100 features in a calendar year in addition to his own stuff. We've literally heard Wayne say everything already.
There is no such thing as over saturation.
There is such a thing as releasing bad music and Wayne had a career and rap that you can only dream of having when you sign a deal.
Hes a different point in his career. Just keep satisfying your fanbase
