It sucks, but you learn how to deal with things being alone than what you would having people around you.

to the OP,I don't think anything of them. I've actually found that people who we're the only child tend to be the ones who end up wanting company all the time. Not always the same for vice versa.

Nothing is wrong with either, at least I don't think, not counting the extreme.

They're no different from those of us who like our alone time.

Being with others re-energizes them.
Being alone for others can re-energize them too.

Being alone is a position of life

Being lonely is a mindstate...
this.

to the OP: do you mean alone as in no one with you physically or just feeling like no one "is on your side" or understands you? or do you mean relationship wise?

What I meant to say was I see them as mentally weak compared to someone who is usually alone.

exactly. intro v.s extro.
i think a lot of that "can't be alone with your own thoughts" that extros exhibit comes from insecurities. just like we intros have our insecurities we struggle with that make us need our "alone time".

ok...well i think people like that are kinda needy and when it's extreme it could be a psychological issue. it depends also if you have a health condition and you're scared that something will happen and no one is around. or if the person has anxiety issues.

but yeah, if there's nothing like that then i tend to think the person is needy and annoying.

I went from being a guy that didn't want to ever be around ANYBODY and sat in the crib all day and somehow have transformed now into a guy who needs to be out 24/7. I'm thinking it had something to do with being a kind of recluse back during my late teens and early twenties, and maybe now that I'm 27 I'm trying to enjoy that younger lifestyle since I can see my youth slipping away. But I'm no therapist, so :yeshrug:
