I think you just need to be 21 and over. Retail purchasing will began in January. U still need a med card to go into shops now. Low grade bud is going for 25.00/ 1/8th.

DENVER (CBS4)- The taxes on recreational marijuana might go a lot higher than first thought. Smokers buying at shops in Denver may pay up to 35 percent in taxes.

Colorado voters will be asked to approve two state taxes totaling 25 percent on all retail marijuana sales in the November election. They may be asked to approve an additional city tax for Denver.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock wants to add an additional five to 10 percent city tax on top of that.

Hancock said the money is needed to pay the costs of regulating the drug.

They might do that in AZ still but not CO. I get a gram of wax hash 10/gram 18/gram non members....shyt is way cheaper than u guys think. Come holla bout them whole ones

Seriously tho just had to come in here and correct some of this shyt.....and supposedly the prices are going to be slightly higher come all the 2014 nonsense....Figure those prices will be the same but tax will be 30 percent higher so ounces might cost another 20 bucks higher than now.

the point is to regulate and eliminate the black market. Creating a supply chain not unlike alcohol. In the same way cheap ass domestic beer is $6.00 or some shyt for a six-pack, reggies are gonna be a low price as well.

I would think that buying trees in bulk 8ths, halfs ect. would be only allowed in certain stores. But you local weed spot would sell prerolled, edibles ect. Not unlike the Coffeeshops of Amsterdam.

I personally would LIKE to see that happen. Hash Bars would be like Drinking bars...create a culture that is positive and condusive to small biz and regional growers.
