What do you need to improve on as an producer?

I need to work on using less well known samples. I'm about 50/50, but I think my true elevation is gonna be when you can't figure out where it came from and it's dope af. At the moment I've got some heat for sure, but in order to ascend I need to guarantee no attention from the music fuzz

Alot of thing i wan't to improve this year . Wan't to make beats without using my mousse using my gear more . Live drum and melody , effect ect . I also think my sound getting outdated so i feel i have to upgrade that as well , also learning sound design more .

focus, ive made very few beats/little no no music the past 2 years cause of work. I need to get back in the groove

I dont take it serious enough, I didnt want to admit it but its the truth, I feel thats why Im not making beats as often as I should.

Bass lines are my achilles heel. Every beat where I have to create my own is a struggle. Sometimes I get into a flow state where I can hum out something off the top that sound great, but then when I try to play it out it sounds like shyt. I just can't seem to figure out a formula that works.
I've been keeping it simple for now, but one of these days I'll need to actually sit down and force myself to figure out a way to improve.
