Just the whole 90s vibe
After 9/11 everything completely changed
shyt became Bizzaro world
Good became bad And Bad became good
I remember a woman on the news turned into a man and they basically implied she was crazy and not to long after Chaz Bono came and they embraced the fukk outta it

shyt was weird as fukk:hhh:

You know how they push #lovewins and all this crazy shyt now :mjlol: the only agenda they pushed in the 90s was making everything look "cool" or "rad":mjlol:

Even cac culture was tolerable in the 90s. Easily the GOAT era excluding fashion.

I really miss sleeping over at a friends crib playing Game Boy/Pokemon during scary hours >>>>>>>>>>

I feel like the internet/computers becoming easily accessible to everyone began the swift downfall in culture.

People were much more social in the aspect that the Internet wasn't a medium in folks getting to know each other, even with cell phones..the tech didn't allow for us to be glued to electronic shyt to communicate lile it is now.

Me and my nikkas and the ladies would meet up after school on Fridays every week and set up the itinerary for the weekend or just meet up at certain spots during the weekdays. Everything was mainly face to face and personal, that shyt I miss man.. The music was better, style had moderated from the wackiness of the 80s..it was just a great era.

Being able to do shyt like this in the league and not get ejected, fined, suspended and ordered to make a public apology.

The excitement and anxiety attacks you would have when the house phone rang with no caller ID. If it's a broad returning your call or the principal calling to dime yo ass out to your parents for doing foul shyt.

Substance in music. Hearing cars drive by bumpin 2pac "Keep Ya Head Up" loud as fukk just like how these idiots nowadays be bumpin migos in they ride.

Real R&B music. Male R&B artists back then would be considered simps/lames today. SMDH

Street football games with all the neighborhood kids on a warm summer evening in Cali.

Meeting up with hoes you met on AOL custom chat rooms. Hoes were honest back then and would scan real pics to send that they had developed from their Kodak disposables. None of those 20 takes with the perfect angle and filter bullshyt.

I wasn't driving back then but I remember gas being $1.15 a gallon.

Going to Eastman video/Blockbuster and hide the available rental boxes behind shytty movies knowing they will still be there when your about to rent them bytches next week. Guaranteed availability.

Like another poster said. Going to people's houses uninvited. shyt was the norm. Use to hit up people's houses out the blue to see wassup and they would welcome you in with no problem.

Jordan's were available everywhere with no crazy lines. Had all colors and sizes in stock.

Going to the mall with your parents and separating with them to hit the arcade. You pull up and see a huge crowd on Killer Instinct or whatever. You put your quarter up cuz you got next. It's your turn and you whoop on the dude that's been whoopin on everybody that built up that crowd. Now you got the juice! Got dam I miss that shyt.

Waiting for In Living Color to come on.

Movies were way better back then. That's why I laugh at all these wack reboots. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for example.

None of that CGI bullshyt.

:to:Thats my decade yall...I wasnt old enough to drink and had to sneak in but I miss the club the most. I caught the tail end as an adult in the early 2000's but these young nikkas buying bottles and standing around cannot be having as good a time as we did.

:flabbynsick:No dress code at the club
:flabbynsick:People actually danced at the club
:flabbynsick:Homos and dykes couldn't come to straight clubs
:flabbynsick:The DJ's actually had to know how to DJ and move a crowd
:flabbynsick:You went out to meet new people not just kick it with the ones you came with

1. No monthly bills

2. Girls/Women with their natural salli Richardson look

3.. Cassette tapes and have to hit the rewind button

4. Not that much snitchin..dudes kept their mouth close
lol thats horseshyt. nikkas been snitching heavy for centuries. The only difference now is that its easier to snitch now with the internet, smartphones etc, able to reach thousands of people in just a day.

Gas clothes fast food was much cheaper. Also miss going to football games on Fridays meeting up with the fellas trying to scheme on some p*ssy for the night afterwards. Miss playing backyard football and basketball all evening long during weekends and summer. Miss chilling with family and friends in general. Seems like people were a whole lot tighter when they were in their teens and early 20's.
