Nowadays, literally like 70% of the females I know are all trying to be nurses and shyt. Im pretty sure its the same for yall too. Now im not hating or nothing, but i really question how good this thing will turn out. The fact that dumb ass hoodrat broads who still glorify hood life and all that bull shyt can easily get into this field just doesnt sit well with me.:merchant:

People say there will always be a high demand for nurses but IDK.

How do you guys think this will turn out?

Nursing school is very difficult most of those broads will be weeded out.

I think the field will still be healthy, alot of older nurses from the Baby Boom era about to retire :flabbynsick:. May go through a 2-3 year drought but the demand will pick up shortly after.

well, I think wages are going to fall or stagnate in the next 5 years because there is so many people who want to be nurses.

On the flip side, there are increasing barriers to entry that may limit the growth labor supply. I've heard of colleges using an upper-division entrance lottery system where only those with a 3.7+GPAs are allowed to participate in.

years ago it was hyped up as the field with the highest demand and growth, and i think maybe that's when people started jumping on it. not sure if it was like this before, but now, nursing is a difficult program, and airheads are going to have a tough time getting through.

Nurses are the workhorses of the hospital. The field is actually going to continue to grow. Nursing school as said, is neither easy to get in to...or to stay in.

Not disagreeing or saying you're wrong, but what is it most of these hoodrats are doing then? Are they really nurses or are they just doing something else.

I feel where you coming from...as nurses are seen as either philipino or fat black women...but its just a myth. Just like black people dont play soccer. There are alot of nurses made up of that demographic, but there are a ton of males, and females of all colors who are nurses.

Also, maybe the people you are referring to are just secretaries in doctors offices or techs...or nurse practitioners.

OR...hoodrats can be smart too nikka. Book learning dont mean you still aint ghetto. lol

They are.

Actual Nurses have a much more rigorous program.

CNA's make around 35-40k and MA's make around 20-25k depending on their hours.

Nursing as a program, will stay the same as it ever was, the wages are going down due to the increased amount of nurses, but not by much. Most nurses make 50k+ out the gate still.

Supply and demand. Nursing is the new IT, so to speak. The same way everybody was getting their MCSE 5 years ago, and mortgage brokers five years before that, now everyone is becoming a CNA. Personally, I look at a male nurse like :scusthov: For sure, in a few years, there will be too many IMHO, and they will drop the salary and raise requirements soon enough. It seems everybody who can't find employment takes a semester of night school and becomes a nurse. That ish cray
