Brandon M.
City of Angels
I just dont know. i dont wanna say hes injury prone but may his knees be brandon roy status
I'd say it's pretty unbelievable that teams were actually fighting over offering him a max contract considering he's never proved to even be a 60 game a year player. He's also never won anything. He's insanely overpaid and a potential risk to the long term future of the Hornets with his max salary locked up and it being unlikely they'll get anything close to max production out of him over the course of that deal.
Their franchise player has 4 years of rookie salary.
Is he overpaid? Yes, he and damn near everyone else, but this is twofold: supply and demand (how many good shooting guards are there?) and needing to salvage that CP3 trade. In the short term, his contract isn't gonna prevent them from signing what they need anyway.
Find me the non rookie scale non max players that you look at and go "damn, he's outperforming his contract"
Didnt Lebron take less to play in Miami.
