rewatching still and I'm on whitecaps.

the tension between gandolfini and edie falco in their scenes together in this one.......:whew:

I know they both received emmy's just for this one episode alone :ohlawd:

just looked it up and both tony and carmela got emmy's for whitecaps alone.

ralph also got an emmy as well.
Well deserved. I felt kinda bummed when I found out Edie doesn't even remember the famous Whitecaps argument, which I understand from an actor's POV, but damn. :mjcry:

Lately I’ve been watching more off the random more self contained middle of the season episodes...and there’s some really amazing ones like:

Second Opinion
Irregular Around the Margins
Happy Wanderer
Another Toothpick

I like these episodes bc they’re not major plot developing episodes and they’re lesser hyped (especially compared to Pine Barrens which is pretty much a stand alone episode and I love it but it’s hype is almost cliche at this point) episodes compared to the typical lists that include the season finales and such.

my all time fav episode is probably All Due Respect, followed by Fun House and Long Term Parking.

@Whips-n-Chains I love Walk Like A Man and The Ride. Especially Walk Like A Man :banderas::banderas: for the Chrissy and AJ story lines in both.

Soprano Home Movies is up there as far as favorite episodes go. Tony weaponizing Bobby’s innocence was foul and putting a hit on a civilian was just the beginning of the Jenga pieces falling that season. Honestly, I guess Bobby was lucky to even be alive at that point after putting hands on the boss, but it was devastating to see the effect Tony has on even his own family. Felt like this season opener was a sneak preview of the vile, devil incarnate Tony Soprano we see later on in the season. Bobby couldn’t even look at his children the same way after that hit.

Upon rewatch I grew more appreciation for the coma sequences in Season 6A. Part A was still a bit of a slug, especially with the Vito subplot, but I thought it turned a corner after ‘The Ride’. Part B is just a cinematic, creative goldmine. Depressing, but man the whole show operates on another level there.
