What do you consider a "sincere" apology?

So I was listening dr. Gary Chapman (5 love language). And he has book on apologies which I'm going to read. So my question to the Coli, what is a sincere apology to you? Is it saying I'm sorry? Is it admitting your wrong? Is it restitution? Is it repentance (like changing that behavior that they don't do it again)?

So what is it to you?

1. Admittance of guilt
2. Repair/Restitution
3. Changed Behavior

Apologizing before being confronted is the best indicator of sincerity to me. Otherwise they're just apologizing because they got caught/called out.
