Big part of lifting is discipline.

But to break the monotny I say throw in a sport you like.

I play soccer about 2 times a week and even though I play at the same place and time, each game with be different. Maybe I score, maybe I don’t. Maybe I’m out there like Messi, maybe I’m not.

Switch programming i burnt out of my push/pull/legs so I moved on to a full body routine and when I get bored of this I’ll move on to probally something metcon related or go back to something like an upper/lower or push/pull/legs

Change up the routine.

In summer was doing Guzman's routine, last month changed it up to doing some of Jeff Nippards science based ones.

I take a few days off to recharge, that's how you get injured if you're going in there unfocused/bored thru the motions in my opinion

You didn't get your gains overnight. So taking a mental/physical break won't cost you them

Yep...and sometimes, you can come back from a break feeling stronger than you were before. Rest is a part of training.

I know this eventually happens to everyone Every once and awhile. I like the way lifting makes me look but it’s coming to that point again where the gym is starting to feel like a chore.

How do you guys remedy this? I usually just stop going for a few months but I don’t want to go that route this time.
try new workouts, take a break (no longer than a week) don't go everyday. Try to train your mind as this is me time instead of work, if you deem it as work then it will suck.
