What do i do if a spirit is trying to contact me?

Oh the name is very well known.
Basically, another name of a deity that was venerated centuries earlier, before Christianity, who shares similarities with…
Freaked me TF out because I was not thinking about that stuff at all. Name was not in my head AT ALL. I was literally frozen in place, tv stopped…like I was on the verge of a panic attack, alone, and it controlled me, my breathing, etc, said its name and told me to be calm and that everything would be ok.
And then I got the news I needed maybe 2 weeks later and life has been smooth sailing, for the most part.
But I know wtf I experienced. And I don’t discuss it because I would be called blasphemous.
I think we know now that we (diff ppl, cultures, etc) use different names to call out to TMH. So that could be it.
Or something/someone different stepped in for me in my time of need. Also why I’m careful because spirits will try to trick you. But this was stronger than a spirit because I literally couldn’t regain control of my body. So I know it was…something more.
But I move very differently after that. I was never negative or anything, but I am especially careful about remaining positive and not harboring negative thoughts no matter what happens/who I encounter. When I’m negative, I get an immediate reaction from “the universe”. Seriously. It’s like immediate. So there’s something operating with/around me.
Not saying stuff doesn’t happen, but…I’ve been blessed since then.

What it look like
This shyt has been trial by fire for me. I probably had damn near a decade of being bothered by ghosts because I was spiritually weak. I have more understanding and less fear so when I feel them, I sense whether it’s malevolent or benevolent and go from there. But I’m at the point where they aren’t bothering me anymore. Or it’s very rare. Like, it was BAAAAAAAD.
But now that I’m stronger and have more understanding I can get control when a spirit disturbs me.
The only time I really, really didn’t have any control was when what I believe may have been a deity literally froze me and stated its name. I was actually having a full on panic attack about something happening in my life and this…force literally froze everything and told me to calm down and that my life would be fine and to just moving forward in life. Made me question my faith because the name it said…wasn’t one in Christianity. It was a name that was used before Christianity…I’ll say that.
I’ve never acknowledged that incident verbally because I’m actually afraid of what I may discover.
That was years ago tho and life’s been pretty steady ever since. Part of my chill attitude comes from that.
But yea…seems like you have a spirit looking out for you. Unless you did actually pray to a specific angel. That would be amazing if it is checking in on you.
Praying to the angels does work, tho.
My immediate fam isn’t catholic but I went to catholic school my entire life. My mom (Baptist her whole life) started reviewing my religious homework and began praying to different archangels. Called up my aunt and was like “hey, these prayers work!”

i got 1 too, breh. Know his name(won't repeat it) and everything.He keeps me in line, warns me in shaky situations, won't let me do anything that will dampen my spirit. That's how I know he's from TMH.
