"The wire" basically touched on dis one right here .....

I always look at dis way if the politicians were really doin there job than can we name a neighborhood that went from super ghetto to an at least a lower middle class one ?

Politicians have the same concepts as boarding a flight..

The ones who spend the most board 1st and get the best services..

If you look at harlem and/or other spots that are getting gentrified, the developers who donate get the laws "loosened" so they can make the maneuvering they need to..

I've seen this in action personally...:sas2:

shyt look at new york switching the rules so the Mets can play with unvaxxed players:bryan:

I get the sentiment, and I've been a critic of democrats as long as I've been able to vote back in 2004. Problem is, while democrats may not do anything more for you, you definitely will have your rights taken away if Republicans continue to win.

It's a fukked up situation to be in.

"Pay to play" and back room money deals may seem to be the best and most effective maneuver to get things done politically and it is an issue.

But the progress that Black Americans have made politically was not because of Black millonare and Billionare donations solely or even primarily.

It was through political action and involvement and strategy and advocacy.
Small donations to a political a campaign is fine. Black Democrat voters donate to campaign in small and large donations that goes with the process naturally

But a money battle with Billionares like the Kotch bros is like playing LeBron one on one. Good luck with that.

Since I’ve been old enough to vote, I’ve gained NOTHING from Bush, Obama, or Biden. I didn’t vote for Trump but I damn sure gained some wealth when he was in office. I’d like to go back in time and vote for him, since that was the ONLY time I gained anything from a politician…and fukk how you feel about it

U vote for the person most likely to help you or at the very least protect you from being harmed.

if none of u can’t get it through ur heads I’ll need to deal with u quite harshly.

Why are so many Black women talking about leaving Pittsburgh?
"A 2019 Gender and Equity report commissioned by the city revealed Pittsburgh is one of the worst cities in the country for health and economic outcomes of Black women. Combine that with how media portrayals and lack of opportunities for Black people contribute to negative perceptions of Pittsburgh’s Black communities, and you have a recipe for a region that will never see Black growth unless something changes. A region that will continue to fail at retaining and attracting Black people who have the means to move."

Ed Gainey is the only hope and I don't know if he's even going to make the needed changes to help his people in Pittsburgh. Every other local politician is the reason that these kinds of videos and articles are out here to begin with.

So, I can't win by voting either way.

People don't understand that voting in a regular election is about choices not ideology. Voting in a primary is about ideology.
