but ghost standards it was a sorry lp but if you want to put it in general hip hop standards it was a sold 3 mic album

Yea. Ghostface is one of those dudes where his stuff is compared to his older work a lot because there is so much quality. It's hard to compare him to the typical stuff out there sometimes

I STILL bump Purified Thoughts regularly. Absolutely love that Joint.

Th album itself was cool but it didn't really love up to Ghost standards. I especially enjoyed Big Doe Rehab and Wizard Of Poetry so I'm hoping he comes back strong

It was a raw, gritty compilation, didn't know it was a compilation and not an official studio album.

I like Game's verse on that song with Joell Ortiz.

I thought it was solid, and quite underrated. I went in with no expectations due to the meh single, lack promotion, and how Def Jam announced it out of the blue. But it has more than a few bangers and great features. Beats are on point too. It's not a great Ghost album but pleasantly surprised me

U-God on Ghetto was :smugdraper:

I know this sample has been used a gazillion time, but it was a welcoming surprise and fitting on Apollo kid.

Some called us martyrs, some called us fathers
Run up in the club like the suicide bombers

Only Ghost album i never listened to. It just seemed like a rushed, throwaway type album at the time
