Can dc crash and burn ? Yeah but I doubt a b v s Movie or a jl movie or a suicide squad star studded cast are the flops . If anything we may not see some of the standalone movies

the one thing they haven't done, is slack in the casts for any of these movies and they're making interesting choices. I'm happy they're doing their own thing, I don't want them to copy marvel that would bore the hell out of me

They're rushing by announcing all of those movies in the first place. Marvel didn't do that until AFTER they already established a foundation.
And for people saying DC universe/characters are already established that makes no difference. You still need to have solid big screen adaptation. The assumption that DC characters will carry and do numbers on the strength of name recognition alone. And like I said before, they're last 2 movies got mixed reviews. All i'm saying is they didn't have to follow Marvels blueprint for success. When Marvel did it, it was seamless and it didn't feel rushed. With DC it does.

Breh that's the hollywood model now, regardless. And you think they care about mixed reviews? they care about bottom line and Man of Steel was a success for them financially which is what they needed to get going.
So basically if they don't do it exactly like Marvel did it then it is going to fail?

it'll basically be impossible for them to fail with that. atleast money wise. even if it sucks film wise they can keep pumping it out ala Transformers because people will go see it off the fact that they are more recognizable comic characters than Marvels

I read an interview from the chick who's directing the Wonder Woman movie and she mentioned it's not even greenlit yet. So even though flags have been planted there's still chances certain movies won't get made.

DC is rushing because they're putting wonder man, cyborg and aquaman in a Batman/ Superman, a film that was originally was a MOS sequel. IIRC after that they'll release JL.
