you can have a car note, as long as you have good enough credit and enough down payment to pay as little interest as possible.

That's the trick.

Get it so ur bsically paying straight car.

:picard:Ain’t happening breh......you looking at 100k miles for $5000 for sure
Not true. Autolist/Autotrader/Ebay Motors/Copart has an inventory of 50,000+ vehicles with less than 100k for under $5000.

You can get a great deal if you know or go with someone that knows what to look for.
It could help, but you could still ultimately get stuck with a lemon. This doesn't seem like a situation that warrants such a risky decision. I'm saying this as a person who had a (semi) successful car purchase off CL. :francis:

Mother Fuuuuck a car note. Please don’t do it breh. Use that 5k and cop something older but reliable. Look at a 06 Camry XSE with the V6, or something comparable. It’s a boring commuter but it’s powerful and it won’t let you down. Rock that and use the cash that you’d be paying on a note to build wealth.
Watch this whole video, it will help put things into perspective for you

Bout to throw down 10gs on either a 2008 Lexus gs350 or a 2007 BMW 335i coupe. Both have 80k miles and are selling for 10gs. Definitely buying one of them outright rather than financing. Just can't decide which, though I'm leaning towards the Lex. :patrice:

Keep in mind that the 335i is the 2nd most unreliable 3 series behind the M3. They are complex cars and can be hella unreliable especially at that mileage because that’s when you gotta start fixing shyt. You can’t beat Toyota/Lexus reliability. It comes down to preference since they are two polar opposite cars. The GS is the “sportier” Lexus compared to the ES, but the GS is still a big floaty car. It’s main focus is comfort. The 335i would be a fukkin hoot to whip. They’re (BMW) probably the best handling cars behind Porsche. I’d personally go with the GS.

Car payments do suck...

But if you gotta have a car I'd slap it down on a 3 year old honda civic w/ about 30,000 miles. That'll run you about $13,000 and with an $8000 loan you'll be paying less than $150 a month for it

A 3 year old honda:mjlol:

Op, get a 93 Chevy Caprice, for 1k and use the rest of the money for some rims. Don't listen to these clowns, buy a 3 year old honda:mjlol:.
