like an AA nursing or and AA teaching? What could I do with an AA teaching?
do something technical or trade like which you can get credit for later in a 4 year degree.

nursing, computer networking/programming/science.
Electronics, plumbing, home heater/air condition etc....

Anything which is technical or trade like and you will eat.

can you define the degree further?
what was the concentration?
also, try doing a job search by degree

just to clarify, I'm not at a trade school, I'm a community college student.

what are you trying to do? Your goal?

is it money? Job Happiness? a specific career field? Work a certain kind of schedule?

because a 2 yr degree can get you any of those thing, or it can get you none of those things

but you have to line it up with the reality of the working world. Good luck

I think I might go for The Tutoring Center, my resume is weak due to a lack of formal work experience. I take care of my grandparents and work with my uncle on occasion but I dont know how to put that in a resume or count it as experience.

They can help you with your resume. You have to start somewhere to get the experience, people tend to understand that and you're still relatively young so it wont be such a an issue. You should do work study or tutoring or an internship at your school it would look good on your resume.

I'm not having a laugh but do you have any certs in anything? They can be useful and look good on a resume.

What do you do you do for your uncle? You can probably find a way to add it your resume.

I helped my uncle in landscaping and I have a certification in word 07, the outdated software we used in my high school.

In between graduating with my associates and transferring to a 4 year college, I will have the spring and summer semesters free since I'll be graduating early. I'm wondering what jobs I could get at that time with my new found credentials. I don't want to make a career out of a job I get from my associates in arts. I would be looking for maximum pay and any schedule.

For sure, I plan on transferring to a 4 year.

Read the post
It'll be difficult to get a job in nursing or teaching with an AA unless you already have a connection. You say you have computer skills, I'd say you should look for a helpdesk job. They usualy pay decent and they don't require any certs. That would be a good job while you wait to go back to school.

Not much my man. I went the same route you're about to embark upon but I got a couple classes left and I'm transferring :ahh:

I got a solid job and I hustle so I'm stacking up a decent amount while doing school :ahh:

I got a pretty solid resume with an eclectic sort of experience in a bunch of different shyt as far freelancing, part-time jobs, and internships. Every once in a while I randomly send out my resume to places just to gauge where it's at and I've surprisingly gotten called in for interviews for decent jobs.

Here's the deal though breh: our AA degree is pretty fukking useless. It's something, but you need to at least hold a bachelors in a specified field. We have the Bachelors in Sociology of AA degrees :mjlol:

Other than that though, it's the best decision I've made educationwise. Zero debt, completely affordable—minimize costs now to maximize profits for the future breh

Theres no concentration idiots. AA just means he took the General education classes. Its a completely worthless degree only there because its used as a transfer program for liberal arts majors like history, english, or poli sci.

where do you live? opportunities differ by locale.

and if money is your main motivation then you need to take an assessment of your available resources and assets and determine the best course of action. and we in HL could probably help with that but we would need to get into the micro level of detail about your circumstances.

dont speak on it if you dont know about it breh
