What can you do with an Associate of Arts?

I'll be taking summer classes so I can get my As. of Arts and transfer to a 4 year a semester early. In my spare semester, I plan to work full time to save up some bread. At 19, with no former formal work experience and an As. of Arts, what can I expect? Minimum wage still? Are there any temp agencies or internships you guys are familiar with?

You're basically on the level of a high school grad unless you can find an internship and convince them to take you on if you already have a 4 year degree lined up or are already enrolled in.

If you have a decent resume temp jobs are a good option.

If you have an interest in a field that's not beyond your scope I always recommend going around in person unless you have connections.

What do you mean by lined up or enrolled in? If I show them an acceptance letter would that suffice? Or would I have to be enrolled in and currently taking classes in said university? Because I wouldnt be able to register and enroll until fall, maybe summer, and If I finish early, I'll have spring and summer off.

I think I might go for The Tutoring Center, my resume is weak due to a lack of formal work experience. I take care of my grandparents and work with my uncle on occasion but I dont know how to put that in a resume or count it as experience.

I know a girl with a BA in pysch that works at Starbucks. She uses it only for health insurance, which costs her so much that she literally gets checks that are $0 at times. Granted, she's a moron but still. . . You get the point. If that's what you aspire for you should probably look at yourself in the mirror, breh.

I dont pay for insurance guy. I just made the thread to see my options and make sure i'm not overlooking some program or route that people in my situation usually take that pays more. Sometimes you just miss out on stuff like that. I guess Ill go for Sams or Barnes n Noble.
