What brand of melatonin y'all recommend?

I know most are probably the same, but what brand works for you? What would you advise against? Please let me know. Thanks brehs.

I used to take a brand called midnite. Knocked me out an hour after taking one or two.

Melatonin should be a temporary solution if you are having trouble sleeping. You need to look at other areas like stress levels, phone use during the night, quality of your mattress, etc to determine why you can't fall asleep.

I used a brand at CVS. Forget the name. The color on it is yellow. But like the poster above said, get off of it ASAP. You shouldn't need to pop melatonin to go to sleep. You might not be like me, but when I used it, my mind was hella foggy in the morning. I was unproductive. I don't think it's necessary to sleep well. Trouble sleeping can be cured naturally without popping a tablet.

I was just about to buy one too but as other said i just had a look at what i was actually doing before bed

Been trying to get to sleep earlier to wake up at 4 30

Street fighter + tablet in my hand in bed at 10pm and i be wondering why i havnt dropped off 30 mins later :mjlol:

If you can find a bottle with a 300mcg per serving you're good to go. If not I wouldn't go above 1-2 mgs. Even better if you stack it with L-theanine/ashwagandha (sensoril)/Relora

ice cold perm, I saw something similar said elsewhere, but why wouldn't you go above 1-2 milligrams? I'm looking at this as a temporary solution. (Trust that I'm almost anti-meds/pills to a fault) Now Foods has them in gel capsules, so I know that I can split those pills, but even then they'd be at 2.5mg. The bottle has 5mg per pill. What reasoning you got for your low dosage recommendation?

What brand though? Plus what the hell does 5HTP stand for is what myself and the other laymen are asking

Not taking any psych meds right now, but I appreciate the concern. I'm gonna try out melatonin for awhile and eventually consider moving over to 5HTP. Thanks folks
