We had to read James and the Giant Peach in 2nd grade, I think the payoff was if we read the book we could watch the Movie.

I read the book in 2nd grade but the movie didn't come out until I was 16 Best believe I took my 16 year old ass right to the movie theater to see it acting like an over grown child


In 2nd grade me and my older sister would go outside and collect different types of bugs and sprinkle peach juice over them, hoping they would become bigger over night.......

Man i remember reading the outsides that shyt was piff.

Then when i found out there was a movie

But the movie sucked to me

It just wasnt what i imagined.

at the dude who played soda.

There was this one scene i still remember vividly .

I forgot the dude name the rich guy. So he pulls up while the broad was with soda and tell her to get in. The way they had it in the book it seems so swagged out. The movie came across weak.

I know it was probably nominated or won some award but the book was just great to me couldnt get into the movie.




Lord of the flies was an aight book too read that in hs for summer reading.
