May da funk be wit cha
boyz II men are up there too. that 2nd album is fire

WTF? ur out of ur fukkin mind bruh, the fukk you talkin about? i gave up on you right here with this post
Blackstreet was nowhere close to Boyz 2 Men, Jodeci, Dru Hill, 112 in the 90s. Nowhere close and I say that as a Blackstreet fan. They weren't on that level of the top R&B groups IMHO.
Now I don't rate this list as solid or reliable but it gets the job done in what I'm talking about.

using this chart and the criteria, i dont agree with it....i say that cause going by they criteria, boyz 2 men should be the only icon up there....they were the only 90s group with multiple classic cds....i mean, while i think jodeci is one of the icons of the 90s, they didnt have multiple classic cds....they had classic songs, but not cds....hell, the group that wanted to be just like them, dru hill, had better overall cds....the thing is, people overlook that cause when jodeci had a hit, it was a serious, smash hit (only boyz 2 men could compete with them in that regard)....
Jodeci was a classic, Diary of a mad band was a classic, the show, the after party was a classic. 3 classic albums, all 3 went platinum, last 2 even peaked in top 3 of the top 200.
Well calling an album a classic is subjective period.in your opinion, maybe....but not in mine nor in a lot of people i have talked with about music...they have classic songs on those albums, but those albums themselves arent classic....
Well calling an album a classic is subjective period.
That said what isn't subjective about those 3 albums were their commercial success, the number 1s each produced on the R&B side and their crossover success as evidenced by their success outside the R&B charts.
