i just started watching bros videos and he’s pretty on point.. He was one of the only ones saying Trump had a real chance to with the presidency...

In this vid he breaks down why trumps a marketing genius, not intelligent though...

This one he gives gives his thoughts on Cornell west on Tuckwr Carlson show

He said he gave Cornell a C grade for his apperance

Now put this next to majority reports view of the same interview and they say Cornell schools Tucker.

(I’ll add that I think it’s pointless interviewing with tucker Carlson, he just lies and talks over people)

What are your thoughts :jbhmm:

Bernie Bro who is skeptical of the russia threat.

He also has a sort of privileged white guy disdain of identity politics

I can’t fukk zero sum anti-Democrat’s like that.

Kyle loves false equivalency and “both sides” bullshyt arguments.

Kyle is right on the "poor marketing" aspect but I disagree with about 90% of the rest. I also prefer the MR format of pausing and filling in the information right after a comment instead of playing the clip uninterrupted and then backtracking.

My main complaint isn't actually related to the West critique though. Kulinski is pretty defensive about getting the DSA stances wrong in a previous video and unapologetic, which is crap. Say you didn't know, correct it and then point out that they need to market their ideas better; but don't come at it like "it's not my fault that I didn't look deeper and if I could get that wrong then imagine the casuals" ...you were the casual and got called out for it buddy. As a matter of fact, I had that discussion with someone who mentioned the Kulinsky video on this forum. He absolutely misled someone and I had to correct the ideas (by quoting Michael Brooks btw). It helps that MR staff are DSA members and Kulinsky is outside of that circle looking in though and I think it does inform us on how a large segment of even intelligent and progressive leaning people need to be informed in-depth on things because the first frame they see is the one they latch onto.

Anyway on Cornell West, he only has so much time to respond. Pointing out the DSA has people with beliefs on a spectrum was an important approach imo. Kulinsky's frustration was weird on it to me, because I thought West was pretty clear on that. I get the "it sounds like a dodge" thing on the "where has socialism worked" part but when they dig down on point by point...West runs away with it imo and the MR guys acknowledged that while Kulinsky got pretty caught up on aspects that I felt were less important than some of the concepts West was able to push forward without Carlson countering (instead he'd try to flip to a new subject and paint it negative but get disputed effectively).

remember when last week I called out left wing racists?

Kulinsky literally has inklings of that and I’ve sensed it for the longest time.

Kulinski also masks his lack of intellectual rigor with a bombastic style of communication because he rarely has legit critiques or insight. He’s like someone someone on TLR coming in here and just saying their opinions.

I don't follow him closely compared to others, so I never really got racist vibes out of him. But I've given him the benefit of being intellectually lazy on issues more than a few times, so I can't front that I could see my view shifting if I paid closer attention and the lazy thing was a real consistent problem.

NAILED it here.

He is a fraud whose whole shtick is that everything is hillary clinton and the democratic establishment fault, he cant string together coherent sentences without blaming democrats. He refuses to acknowledge russia was involved in the 2016 election because his audience are bernie broes and conservatives who hate democrats. He is the smarter version of jimmy dore who is a hack. I blocked his youtube channel and i encourage everyone to do it.

I started listening to him before the election in 2016, and stopped about a month before.

Dude spent more time criticizing Hillary than Trump; I don't care what your opinion of Hillary is, she was the better choice. Bar none.

Anyone who suggested it was either ok to waste a vote on a 3rd party, or vote for Trump instead of Hillary is a fool.

I could see him voting for Gary Johnson or a less racist Ron Paul.

When you see the sheer rage he has when the topic of “identity politics” comes up, I see him for what he is. It’s like he isn’t aware of why it even exists.

And furthermore while I have real and profound criticisms of Cornel West, he did damage to Tucker and held his ground in a massive way.

i had learned about him during the Obama administration when he was still on TYT and being an atheist on YouTube was still a respectable thing not like it is now with a bunch of logic-lords using their atheism to perpetuate white supremacy and libertarianism (I recommend The Atheist Experience for anyone looking for left leaning secular content and debates). His name “secular talk” came from that.

Yeah, cenk criticizes the democratic establishment and supports bernie sanders but he voted for hillary and told people to do the same. He also does not criticize identity politics every time and you can i cant see a scenario where he votes for ron paul or gary johnson if there is a viable democratic or progressive in the race.
