I think slowly the same ideas of 'sexiness' that developed with internal combustion engines will be replaced in cars

like earlier people wanted to hear bikes go vroom vroom and thump, now it'll be sexy for a powerful bike to whip past totally quiet

Interesting sort of like how, the hiphop community went from wearing long ass white tees to fitted / tight.

Or how laptops went from having the biggest 17+' to the most convenient which is the exact opposite small, slim, slender.....

I telecommunte to work (ie. work from home) most of the time and ride my bike or walk if I'm going someplace nearby like the grocery store, so I'm keeping my driving to a minimum (and saving gas money). And I turn my air/heat off when I'm not home.

Not sure there's too much else I can do on an individual level other than avoid voting for politicians that won't acknowledge the problem.
