Dru Down’s an Oakland rapper, he had a couple of popular songs in the mid 90s, this and Mack of the Year. He was also on the remix of the Luniz “I Got 5 on It” which definitely got him more exposure. He appeared (but didn’t rap) on 2Pac’s “All About U” and was in an entertainingly bad gangster/hood movie called Original Gangsters.

He was also on one of those Lockup shows a few years ago.
