Whew!! I’ve never heard of Nas’ version of “Ice King”. Thanks for sharing!How I Do is a dope (and underrated) album. I was fortunate enough to have listened to it for the first time by recommendation from a friend like a while ago. It’s was ahead of its time as well. Crazy how Santigold co-wrote and produced that record too.
I'm glad your friend put you on to that album, it's definitely a gem! I didn't even know Santigold even had a hand on this project
How does she sound live? ... I'ma check out that Saadiq album brehI wore this cd out when it came out, Res's "How I do" and Raphael Saadiq's" Instant Vintage" were two highly slept on albums for the early 2000's .I saw her with the Roots my favorite live band to listen too at the House of Blues.
