Prince was on a roll throughout the 80's but there was something magical about his 86' to 87' musical run. :ohlawd:

Sign O The times is probably the 1 Prince album I go back to the most. Even more than 1999.
sign O the times was a mixed project though but some great eclectic sounds and tunes in that compilation so to speak.
Dream factory was the initial project and what an incredible album that was shaping up to be plus the Camile LP.

Yeah, it's crazy how how much music he was working on and how he originally wanted Dream Factory to be the album that was intended for release in 87'.
Him, Wendy and Lisa were putting in work!
Along w/ Clare Fischer was well too!
That Camille LP was dope
It's crazy how for every song Prince would write and record, he could shape that 1 song into an album of songs, based off the what direction he wanted to go in
Like them tracks on Camille all fit on the projects they ended up on but at the same time the OG Camille album is the shyt
