nah those are the ones in between crew and ankle socks...I believe they are called low cut...ankle socks are meant to be right below your ankle and not show with sneakers

I wear both tall socks and the ankle ones. I wear the manly looking ankle socks that are black and gray...not those bright colored ankle socks. There are also no show socks (which what OP posted) and ankle socks....there is a difference. The no show socks with no support aren't good for shoes because they keep falling off. They need to be a bit longer.

The tall socks are good for winter and wearing Tims and boots. The short ankle socks better with shorts during summer with low top sneakers,,,also good when working out in gym. The tall socks work better with high tops.

What I been seeing that's hot right now and been for years are the tall bball socks and the ones that are all bright colored. I see people wear those the most.

Now the no show socks with that ball at the back of them....men should NOT wear those...

There are socks for different shoe cuts. Low cut ankle socks are fine, those look like no show ankle socks in the OP which technically are also fine...i mean if i rocked something like boat shoes on the reg, i'd probably opt for no shows with them so as not to go sockless. Typically i rock low sneakers tho so low cut ankle sock are what i wear with those. Quarter ankle socks more for high tops.
