I didn't know this until relatively recently, but a perception people have had of me since high school is that I'm very shy/innocent - like virgin church mouse innocent. It's annoying not only because it's completely wrong & is so persistent, but also because apparently a lot of girls don't approach me because they figured I'm not dtf or whatever.

I first realized something was wrong when I was trying to talk to this girl while drunk & she was saying stuff like "I really respect the fact that you don't drink"
