First Turok a classic, 2 is dope. Rage Wars was fun but glitchy, series is complete trash afterwards though. Acclaim fell all the way the fukk off.

The controls on N64 were flat out garbage even back then. I couldn't play it to save my life. I wanna say it had a PC version that was a lot more playable.

I later on played the remake/sequel in the early 360 days and it was good for the time. I liked it a lot but no one talks about it.

Dinosaurs in games are rare enough as it is. All we got now is MH and that unoptimized pos ARK

No one talks about it because the general opinion was that it was pretty derivative of a standard 360/PS3 shooter back then, and was just them throwing the Turok name on it for no good reason.

I played the hell out of that first Turok. They need to bring him back for the new millennium.

I disagree, i don't remember everything about the game but I remember there were some survival elements, you were being hunted by dinosaurs in a jungle, had a neat crossbow weapon and some other things.

It was a FPS but I never got the feeling that it was just a generic FPS with a turok logo stamped on it. Then again I don't remember the story

Edit: you might be talking about turok on the original XBOX. That game was trash IIRC
