most underrated? prolly this EP from WSG and a French producer

You’re the only other person in the booth I’ve ever seen mention this. It was one of the first things I heard from him and it’s so dope.

Brains Flew By is my shyt

@Crumple if you’re looking for loosies make sure you check out ‘94 Ghost and Fork in the Pot which came out on an Alchemist vinyl. Rey Mysterio, Mac-10 Wounds, and Massacre also from Alchemist’s latest EPs.

Outside of a few random singles/collabs, every project GOAT post has been trash in my opinion.
You mean by Conway or across the board? Did you like Tana Talk 3 or Blientele?

For me

1) Flygod
2) Tana Talk 3
3) HWH 6/Supreme Blientele
4) Everybody is Food
5) Butcher On Steroids

The loose joints are crazy when put together - 'The Fourth Rope' was :ohlawd:

Man nailed it! :salute::win::violent::boss::bustback:

I bump all of GxFR, love the Easter Gunday series, Raw is Fly God.

Low key Conway deserves his own Top 5!!

Man...so WSG is more of a persona/lifestyle rapper. He's like an indie version of a Puffy. He's a mogul that also raps.

I break them down like this. Generally speaking...

WSG makes fly lifestyle and slick talk rap.
Conway makes goon and shoot 'em up rap.
Benny makes hustler and street tales rap.

Benny is the best of the bunch though when it comes to bars. Some people might argue Conway over Benny, but once they listen to The Plugs I Met (it just leaked this morning) I think they'd change their mind.

So if you have to catch up on anything, please start with Tana Talk 3 by Benny or check for The Plugs I Met, which drops officially tonight at midnight.

Just Conway.

Thought Blientele & TT3 were good. TT3 better than Blientele.

No doubt. Conway has such a narrow lane with the mega-goon murder raps, and not enough humor or light-heartedness for him to drop music as frequently as he does. He's probably caught 300 bodies just since GOAT dropped. NY style goon rap will always be my favorite type of rap but Conway's shyt is so relentlessly dark that it really has to be fall/winter or I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. I wish he'd try some different production that's not so overly menacing al the time...like Piper, Sky Joint 2, and Fork in the Pot. I also wish he'd do more tracks like Proud of Me where he speaks on his life a little more.

For @Crumple in case you haven't heard I'm posting that song and also The Cow in case you never heard that one, which is easily the best thing Conway has recorded.

Props. I remember TT3 getting alot of love on here where it dropped, should check it out next

What did you think of Supreme Blientele? Its a very "vibey" album and Ive been enjoying listening to it at home while I paint or clean around the house. Dude isn't a great rapper, but he knows how to chose production that fits his voice/flow very well. I did, however, try listening to it on the headphones, and I didn't enjoy it as much...guess it's better as background music if you know what I mean

100% all of this. Yeah the only time I’d really want to listen to WSG with headphones would be to listen to the production intricacies since I’m a beat nerd.

He definitely works better as car music or music in the house.

I’m a little surprised you enjoyed it as much as you did if that’s your first exposure to him. He’s kind of an acquired taste :dame: and I have to be in a certain mood to listen to him, but he definitely makes the most of his skills.

Since Evidence is in your avatar I actually think they are similar in that they’re good executive producers. Ev is one of my favorite emcees and I think he’s criminally underrated as a solo artist. But Ev is open about knowing what his weaknesses are and downplaying then while accentuating his strengths. WSG does the same. They both pick excellent production, use a perfect amount of features, sequence track orders very well, etc. WSG might not make beats like Ev does but I still kind of think of him as a “producer-rapper.”

And to answer your question I like Blientele a lot. I don’t like it as much as I like his first official album (Flygod) but it’s a great follow up

Oh and Griselda’s in-house producer Daringer is contributing to Ev’s next album.
