Yeah this shyt was controversial. They tried to get MTV to ban the video.

They played this shyt maybe ONE time on MTV or BET and then it got bushed. I might had been the only cat around my way who caught it at the time. Everybody was up on Cant Truss It and Shut Em Down, but alotta folks missed AZ.

Never saw it again until the invention of youtube.

Michael Jackson isn't a cac and like I mentioned in the OP, people were mad at the thriller music video because they thought Michael was trying to indoctrinate kids into occultism or satanism. There is nothing new under the sun. Thriller was even taken off MTV for a little while until Michael put out a disclaimer

I recall that. Music television/videos were new then, and Thriller was one of the first to get that creative. Its a zombie short with a teen wolf reference. The country was more conservative in general. I mentioned Manson, because I don't see the line from MJ to Satan. This imagery has genetics back to Death metal, metal, and cringe pop.
