Also when is Finn gonna actually do shyt in the ring that makes him different when he's being the demon? It's like it's supposed bring something out of him but he wrestles the EXACT same way.
They need to start a storyline where he stops being able to control the demon and he starts being more vicious.

Balor has come up from the literal bottom as he trained in the New Japan dojo which while not as tough as it was in past decades is still tougher than FCW on reputation alone. It took him 8 years to work up the card and he slowly earned more and more respect. Then he left and came to WWE.

Roman played football, broke into wrestling, spent a cup of coffee on NXT tv then got shotgunned into a storyline he was never meant for. He did minimal work in matches but got over being a silent destroyer. He then was put in the position of being pushed as the breakout star of the Shield. Ambrose became more popular and now we have what we have today.

The difference is simply who fans buy and who they dont. They are nowhere near the same though

The only legit criticism people have against Reigns is his mic skills and honestly Finn isn't all that impressive on the mic either. Reigns consistently has entertaining matches and even managed to get good matches out of people like Big Show and Bray Wyatt which isn't easy to do.

The difference is we KNOW Finn Balor's in-ring style has been tamed to fit WWE style, Roman has a create a wrestler moveset. And in NXT, Finn was sort of the last man standing since Zayn and Itami got hurt, Owens got bumped up, Neville got bumped, even Breezy got bumped up. And Finn came in already with an internet following.

He's pretty much the same wrestler he was in New Japan. He wasn't that much better than what he's shown in NXT. Balor is a good, solid worker but he has never been elite, people have always hyped him up though :manny:

As horrible as Roman is, he's not as boring as Balor. Balors push has been so bland. They should've had Joe go over him so there could be some type of rivalry.

Come to think of it, i can think of much better matches for Reigns in the past year in change than i can for finn....

:gladbron:
This thread has legs

I was actually waiting for someone to fall into that trap of talking about Finn's matches. :sas1:

Roman PPV matches are pretty much always dope. Only really disappointing one was the one against Dean for the Championship (coincidence that Ambrose was involved in Roman's worst match this year?:jbhmm:) because it was such a short throwaway match with no story.

No one has a problem with someone being handpicked face of the company.....so long as

1) Its done right
2) There isnt anyone more deserving

With Finn he has the pedigree of 10 years on the indie scene so marks respect it and the WWE actually packaged him well to get the crowd over. Look at his NXT special before the Beast in the East show, the put him and his fans over. They dont have illogical storylines for him to get over and they dont have bad promos with dumb nicknames for his opponents

Simples.

Not to mention that everyone knew Bryan was the best in 2013 yet they ended the year telling you that Cena and Blandy were and that backfired BIG TIME:laugh: Roman is nowhere near that trek....he's not even more over than the Wyatts at this point.
Too bad that little midget running thru the ropes every march was fvcking up his health

People aren't GOING crazy for his matches..no one is chanting "You can't Wrestle" but does the male fanbase think he's on Cesaros' level? of course not. He has a pretty boy look..so he definitely needs to SHINE on the mic to stand out more. People are already booing out every Superman counter these days..it's like a Bat signal to intensify boos against him in matches.

Always dope? WTF...he has passable matches. He just NO SOLD the shyt out of some chair shots and won the #1 contender's spot and you think smart wrestling fans didn't know that and aren't gonna harp and focus on that variable going forward? of course they will. At the Rumble, he was hiding after the initial kick off and then came back at #29...WTF:laugh: Craziness. Horrible.
