what are the biggest differences between nolan's batman and the comic batman

batman in the comics is a detective who is smart.

While Nolan batman is just a punhiser who does not kill.

In a movie you cant really expect to devote a scene to Bruce sitting in front of the Bat Computer for 30 minutes figuring shyt out, or in his lab doing forensics....i think the movies did a reasonably good job of letting the audience know he has access to a number of criminal databases and adapting to situations using different tactics.
