Nah but I've applied to Sheet Metal,Pipefitter and millwright so far

And yeah my girl dad a sprinkler fitter for the union and he says it's real hard work but it's definitely worth the wages/benefits

About six months it's ok but lifting heavy pipe 50 60 pounds a day, I'm in a apprenticeship I'm getting 20 an hour only seeing 13 since the 7 dollers is for insurance

I'm in Chicago, Actually was considering moving down to the Gulf Coast to get into pipefitting or sheet metal but my girl wanna stay up here so

I did contact a recruiter for Local 211 in Houston

No never did this type of work ever. There place you with foremans to train you. Hopefully it's one, I've been moving around a bit. And make sure you are good lifting it's a lot of heavy pipe.

Welding man. The field is short and good welders are hard to come by. You like adventure then underwater welding 100-150 an hour.

more saturated markets (California) can be that way, but a lot will hire you and want you to have your BSN in 5 years.

I'll have my associates next May, but I already work in the hospital as a LPN. I have classmates that already have offers from hospitals who don't even work for them .


I think as a male there's good opportunity, and you don't face the same "issues" a lot of women face as far as drama/pettiness. Even the women considered problematic take well to male nurses compared to other female nurses .


A nikka trying to get into critical care once I finish though ....I love behavioral health but it isn't testing my medical critical thinking at all. I need that action
