What about crime do they talk about? Like serial killers in the past? Crime going on in the world atm? etc. What's the best one?
Generation why usually talks about murders that occurred that usually aren't covered in the media. The cases usually are 10 years plus ago, but they do have recent ones. It's usually a new case an episode.
True crime garage is basically the same as generation why, but they do seem to disagree on things in cases at times.
Sword and scale is my favorite. The production that goes into an episode makes it easy for you to get interested into the topics and want to search it up after it's over, but this podcast can get very graphic and heavy. For example, guy mike plays 911 emergency video tapes and even the last moments of the Jim jones mass suicides recordings.
These are just the ones I listen to, there's a lot of true crime podcasts that really get into detail and focus on one case the entire season, you just gotta find what you like.
