What are the best beaches in Texas?

As a texan I dont like the beaches here. The further south from Houston you go the better. It just looks like mud, I prefer the Florida panhandle if I wanted to go to the beach.

I dont go to that sorry ass beach.
Last time i went in the early 2000s they had snicker wrappers in the water and a dorito bag floating in the water. You cant even see what u steppin on

Tx is cool, but when I tell folks i'm from North Carolina, half the time, the first thing they say is how beautiful the state is ...... I''ve only been to one beach, Galveston, but even native Texans make it sound like you going come out the water like



I heard South Padre Island was nice....so to answer to the question...Panama City, FL
