What are some older songs (80s,70s,60s,) that stood the test of time?

Little Brother sampled it back in the day. That's how I heard of it.

3rd verse is my favorite Phonte verse and one of the realest verses ever spit.

Thanks, I like this track too, never heard of this group either. I'm going to check out more of their music. I see that it came out in 2005, I was working double shifts damn near every day from 2003-2009, thats probably why I missed this group/song.

Little Brother had a run that lasted from around 2003-2010. Had some solo projects that weren't bad, but were at their best as a group. The Listening, The Minstrel Show, and The Chitlin' Circuit 1.5 were their best albums.

Since you are from Detroit you might like this one with Elzhi.

Good music is timeless.

A better question would be which songs from that era did NOT stand the test of time.
