Runaway Train is an action thriller done right. Jon Voight and Roberts are prisoners who after a successful escape end up on a runaway train. As they try to regain control of the train, they are being chased down by the sadistic warden of the prison. What sets the movie apart is that the motives of the two prisoners play a big role in how they perceive their situation and future, and this affects their decision-making. Fun fact: the movie also features the debuts of both Danny Trejo and Tommy Lister.
