Out here in my damn drawls
If you don't care about looks

You can get a '05 Buick Park Avenue Ultra in good condition

It's the last model year with the L67 supercharger

Reliable and low maintenance, and floats on the road

If you're in that bracket you shouldn't be looking for German engineering.

You can get a quality, reliable 3 series in this price range

Fun, rear wheel, easy to work on

Wouldn't gamble on a 10 year old BMW being more reliable than a 7 year Accord/Camry/Maxima.

I would normally agree for the higher end models, but the 3 series is a sporty, lower end model that's just as good on the road as any BMW

I gave my little sister my '06 325 and she hasn't had any major problems 1.5 years driving it

And I doubt she's been keeping up with maintenance like I was when I had it

An older Camry is good

Accords are decent but they are living off of the reputation of their older models

But I wouldn't touch a Nissan older than 5 years

What do u mean by constrained, I wanna have my car and be done with no payments.

I don't think s.pending 10k plus all on a car is smart if you not working at a career job.

I thought spending less was the goal.

You can get an 11' or maybe 12' Bimma for that 8,000. It's gonna be approaching 100k, though.

If my funds were that constrained like that, I would just cop a nice Accord or an Optima /w lower mileage & all the features.

Actually seeing alot of the newer Sonata's (2015+) going for 8500ish. Those are nice.

That would be a constraint, my brother.

You have a budget and would like to keep within that.

If you're going at it from a value perspective, you're gonna get the most mileage, amenities & lasting appeal from a newer Altima, Sonata, Camry or Accord.
