Don't think so but she kind of has that look. But I know Bush Jr was big on embracing the mexican population in texas.

See here is the thing with Bush Jr. his policies were straight up conservative and not progressive. But unlike Trump he pushed his conservative views with policy and didn't say it outloud. Then if he was forced to he hid behind religion and righteousness with a small dose of dog whistle.

For example he was anti affirmative action. If he was asked about it he would throw out some christian mess about everyone was made equal in gods eye so AA wasn't needed. If you asked him about gay folks he would say well the bible believes that only men and women should be married.

He would do things like that. But then if you tried to corner him on racism he would say see look I got condi and powell in my cabinet. My administration give amounts of money to HBCUs and black churches.

I always tell folks that Bush Jr was smarter than folks think. He often played the dumb roll to get out if situations and get folks to go easy on him.

IMO dems got very lucky with Trump in that he is an ego maniac and loud mouth. And that he wasn't a career politician and didn't like to listen.

Would be nice but most politicians don't meet most their goals and promises. So we will see. If / win he wins I would argue black folks look at that plan and check off everything he does to make sure he is meeting his campaign promises. If he doesn't light him and kamala up.

Also let kamala know she is tied to the hip with Biden. Whatever he doesn't achieve she will ALSO (along with the dems) be held accountable in 2024 when she runs.
