i would put Pineapple Express in the cult classic category along with IP Man

Inception,Life of Pi, and Social Network are near classics IMO

Wall-E is definitely a classic but im not sure when that came out(edit: just checked and it came out 5 years ago so it makes the list)

I'm always surprised at how much love it gets. I've been meaning to give it a second chance just off of the strength of the love. First time I saw it was with this girl and I was bored and thought that the violence was out of place and weird.

I was just waiting for it to be over cause I knew I could convince her to get nekkid a few minutes after.

IP Man is the only one I can really think of.

Superhero movies really don't count for me. They get rebooted every 10 years or so. Although with time and advances in motion picture technology/special effects the newer ones get better. They really wouldn't be on the list of 'classic' movies for me.

Most classic movies I can think of were at the beginning of the decade. Fight Club, The Fast and The Furious (as dumb as it was, it was the first of its kind to portray the then booming import car community so as a gearhead and ricer at heart, it holds a soft spot in my heart )


Other than that there isn't anything really worth considering classic the past five years.
