working as a lead for 3 projects at work
haven't been watching as much as usual - some days in meetings 12-14 hours

I finished
Loner life in another world - it was cute , and slightly repetitive but decent

Claymore - had a spark when it started , great pacing, fight choreography, the choices the leads made in the end tho' :dwillhuh:

Dan Da Dan - enjoyed it--- can't wait for the new season

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time - Alina was a fukkin savage - killed the final boss and resurrected his @ss because he promised to eliminate her overtime. :russ: Would watch a second season

Started Watching:

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

this has the most anime tropes in an anime i have ever seen - Dude is a lose - becomes a badass by accident
every ho he runs across wants him, nikka or any companion has a convenient spell for damn near every situation

Black Butler season 5

Bye Bye earth season 2

The Masterful cat is depressed again today - This is actually funny as fukk

rewatching

Neon Genesis Evangalion - watched it originally back in my Anime prime , loved it.

I need the "advisors " to give me guidance on the next 3
My dude stationed in Japan - that watches basically JBO anime :shaq:
is trying to put me onto some

Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster

Keijo

The Testament of Sister New Devil

are they worth a watch or is basically a T&A fest with no story
Testament is GOAT’d:wow:

Keijo is great fukkery:banderas:

The other two are just average to sub par

:banderas: Araki had them boys in there studying Ralph Lauren horses for 100 days and nights

  • So it feels pretty clear at this point Phil is Phil rather than Bob. Though how can he transform into Bob is rather puzzling?
  • Jack is Seed 1 and Phil is Seed 2.
  • Jack seeing how the people of the Moon are treated is very good. Though it seems the people of the Moon are divided within themselves. One thing I am wondering though is there a clear connection between Earth and them.
  • Very curious if Mary is nonhuman like Jack & Phil. I guess it depends on when she was associated with Phil. Though if this was before Jack left, it leaves more questions then answers.
  • Also as Jack learns about the people of the Moon, we see the same with Mary regarding Jack's group. In contrast it makes me wonder how will she feel with what Phil is doing.
  • So could the General be the mole? This possibility needs to be considered.
  • What exactly is L-Zone? It can kill people instantly, but not Jack? We saw it creeping on Mary. I guess this could imply that she isn't human like Jack and Phil.
  • So a disease only found on the moon got Inanna sick. Well logic would imply that it would be Mary. Tho is it that simple?
  • Nice to get a more backstory on Rhys and it does seem Mary is pushing her to be more open with her feelings which is good to see.

I believe this is when Araki started doing JoJo in Monthly Releases, instead of Weekly.

You know what good for him. Weekly manga is a fukking torture chamber. Honestly I have grown to enjoy reading Monthlies. The great ones are well worth it.
Yea and it's super mature on his part to recognize he was burnt out and find a way to restart everything as a better writer, within the same series, can't think of anyone who did anything close to that

I believe Vinland switched from being Weekly to monthly. Though that is after a year of it starting, so it prob isn't as good of an example. Fujimoto did switch from Weekly Shounen Jump to Jump+, which allows flexibility for in terms of being a rotating weekly release rather than a strict weekly one.

I know Kenta Shinohara mangaka for Witch Watch, Astra Lost in Space & SKET Dance mentioned that Witch Watch is his last weekly series. So I could see him doing something similar potentially, since it sounds like he still wants to do manga.

So many action series in Weekly Shounen Jump end up as an incoherent mess. :francis:

Man Sebastian trolling Ciel had me rolling :deadrose:

Man Sebastian trolling had me dying of laughter. Meanwhile, with Wolfram he is different from Sebastian's other helpers. Rather than being incompetent, he is just really inefficient. IDK something about that old lady at this point has some relation with the werewolves. Werewolves never attacked the village before, but it makes sense that rather than protecting, the village is at their mercy. Also, the village is only women is a very interesting remark.

For Sullivan, the reason she doesn't walk is that she can't. Though it's messed up because would the village think she isn't the Emerald Witch? It would sense the pact being down with the original Emerald Witch dead and perhaps Sullivan needs to make a pact maybe? Though she does mention the bloodline is diluted.

Also, whatever is happening in the forest is some form of magic? I mean making Ciel cry is one thing, but making Sebastian cry is a thing to take notice.

So the same car that was used in the abduction incident. Also, Osanai asking Kengo not to publish the abduction incident is fine. Though the comment that he can publish anything else is really suspect.

Tbh Urino's relationship with Osanai actually isn't surprising. Despite them dating, it feels like her & Kobato were much closer. But my god, their conversation together at the café illustrates how they don't feel close at all. The comment that Urino is Osanai's syrup is fukking disturbing as well. I wonder how she would react if Urino started being assertive?

Hiya pushing Urino having two articles written gives me a bad feeling around him. Hard to guess, but there is something off with him. Meanwhile, Kengo is truly showcasing how great of a guy he is. He is able to deal with that consular and protect Urino. Comparing how Urino takes the consular complaints with how Kengo perceives it is interesting. Kind of shows again that Kengo can take the heat and be able to handle criticism. While in the past we see Kobato unable to handle criticism, and it is clear Urino fears what could happen if he pisses off the guidance consular again.

Meanwhile with Kobato & Nakamaru, I am not surprised she doesn't like things relating to Osanai. No surprise Osanai's love of sweets is well known. Although her question of why he accepted her confession and to start dating is one that is warranted. Her comments on how she used to think he was edgy, but not anymore. That is part of Kobato's change and rather him becoming ordinary is what got her more curious about him. Well, the real question is what Kobato feels about Nakamaru since they started dating. But she could be a reason for Kobato to becoming normal. Though I got the feeling Osanai in someway will push him to who he truly is.

This is more of a comfort SoL Comedy Iyashikei. Although from a visual and animation department, the first episode was impressive with how dynamic it was.

  • Lately Jack has crossed into the territory of putting his team in danger for what he wants. The fact that he would be dead if not for Rhys, and he still not getting it is an issue despite him wanting answers from Phil is not a good look.
  • The L-Zone and Mary are connected. Though it seems fear is what triggers whatever that thing is. Though the commander calls her Seed8. So as expecting she is related to both Jack & Phil. Though the suspicious feeling that the Commander is Bob given that he is working with Wise gives me that feeling.
  • Phil has been trying to put a distance between him and Mary, while at the same time, bringing Jack/Jacob back is definitely intriguing.
  • Rhys vs Mary has been an interesting dynamic. Former held by obligation and really can't express herself. Meanwhile, the latter is very much who she is, but she isn't even human. Rhys's plan to shoot Mary makes logical sense, but the tears on her face tell a different story.
