A few people not feeling the new Fire Force OP. I think it’s pretty decent and can’t get it out my head.

@LauderdaleBoss what you think about the OP breh?

its not as good as the previous ones (especially for the wait), but its still better than the 2nd one from season 1.

Like its aight to me, prolly gotta grow on me.

I was just coming in here to ask

Where we ranking Netflix at rn in terms of piff

Off the top of my head

Devilman Crybaby
Castlevania
Pluto
Devil May Cry

Are all top tier for different reasons, I'll toss Dorohedoro in there as well cuz it was outta left field

Moonrise got me locked in halfway through episode 2 :wow: wtfukk is going on
Frieren, Apothecary Diaries, Orb, Vinland, Dungeon Meshi and Pluto are at the top for me.

Though looking through Netflix's anime catalogue, they really have a good amount of anime, especially for people that like to binge. Plus it's pretty diverse.

Apothecary and Frieren we'ren't Netflix iirc they're just hosted on Netflix, I was talking about shows Netflix actually put money into producing

but yea I trust them way more than Adult Swim to make sure some shyt gets the animation it deserves

Ah I see what you mean now. This link has all of their produced stuff.

Pluto & Cyberpunk prob at the top. Still need to watch Dorohedoro before S2 comes around.

The Grimm Variations was an interesting one. It was self-contained stories of twists of fairy tales. Each episode is rooted in a different genre.

Blue Period had a good story, but kept hearing how it was a bad adaptation of the manga

I tried Lookism I couldn't get into it at all. Felt like the story was trying too hard and it felt off-putting.

I'd say Arcane is their best animated series.

A few other that I enjoyed including the ones you mentioned -

Blue Eye Samurai
High Score Girl
Kotaro
Cyberpunk
Bluebox
Dota
My Happy Marriage
Rising Impact

I'm probably missing some but those came to mind without searching.

I watched a couple of episodes of Wolf King and Moonrise yesterday. Moonrise animation looks insane. You can tell they spent a lot of money on it. Wolf King so far has an interesting premise and the world building potential looks dope (with all the kingdoms).

Netflix animation is underrated.

Cyberpunk didn't really hit for me (I played the game too)

You'll like Dorohedoro, it's whole world is super unique, easy to get immersed in.

Idk how people sleep on Crybaby :wow: I know it's a remake of the OG story but still, I'm a sucker for randomly unique animation choices.

Man the more Apothecary Diaries explores Lishu's situation, the more and more apparent how fukked up everything is for her.

Alright this is getting even more interesting with some questions.

  • With the Phil reveal and we see him change to Bob who was their father of sorts. Who is this person. Is he Phil or Bob? Bob was shown to going crazy before Jack left in the escape pod. Also the comment of Devil & King of the Moon is interesting.
  • Assuming that this is Phil his behavior is erratic when Jack is around. Right now there is some logic that if he fights Jack he can bring him back.
  • Still confused what Saphienta means here
  • Is Jack considered Seed1? What is other Seed models or those the fighting robots. Could Bob & Phil be mixed somehow?
  • Though in that consul there is one person from Earth. Feels like there is something bigger at work.
  • Jack visiting his old home is emotional, sadly no clues outside of his real first name Jacob.

The storytelling is giving me Heavenly Delusion type of pacing

I almost wish it was a week by week release so there was less risk of getting spoiled

@RGM
working as a lead for 3 projects at work
haven't been watching as much as usual - some days in meetings 12-14 hours

I finished
Loner life in another world - it was cute , and slightly repetitive but decent

Claymore - had a spark when it started , great pacing, fight choreography, the choices the leads made in the end tho' :dwillhuh:

Dan Da Dan - enjoyed it--- can't wait for the new season

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time - Alina was a fukkin savage - killed the final boss and resurrected his @ss because he promised to eliminate her overtime. :russ: Would watch a second season

Started Watching:

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

this has the most anime tropes in an anime i have ever seen - Dude is a lose - becomes a badass by accident
every ho he runs across wants him, nikka or any companion has a convenient spell for damn near every situation

Black Butler season 5

Bye Bye earth season 2

The Masterful cat is depressed again today - This is actually funny as fukk

rewatching

Neon Genesis Evangalion - watched it originally back in my Anime prime , loved it.

I need the "advisors " to give me guidance on the next 3
My dude stationed in Japan - that watches basically JBO anime :shaq:
is trying to put me onto some

Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster

Keijo

The Testament of Sister New Devil

are they worth a watch or is basically a T&A fest with no story
