Mysterious Disappearances Episode 7
Great episode. We got insight of Shizuku's past and how horrible it was. She had no home with that awful mother and I feel like the other kids didn't really understand what she was going through. Obviously from our perspective it looks so cruel not to help her. Tomoka was very selfless she saw the misery Shizuku was going through and held no mistake to help her.
While it can appear that Shizuku was one of Tomoka's many friends, but for Shizuku, Tomoka was her one dear friend. But I love how Oto expressed it that Shizuku was also a special friend for Tomoka. Their friendship is great, and you can tell the pain for Shizuku knowing her friend who accomplished her dreams couldn't continue to live on. Given their friendship Tomoka would want Shizuku to continue to live and that's the best thing she can do for her friend.
Though the conversation at the end that Ren is truly a monster. His plan to send Oto home will come at the expense of himself. We know how much that will break Oto's heart. What would Oto actual want and potentially staying in this world might be what she prefers.
The creepy revolution in this episode was that Curiosities can be used to trade as tickets for the destination even if it is actual people. Ren won't do that, but that idea is creepy and terrifying. No wonder Ren never mentioned it to Sumeriko before

Started Oblivion Battery today, and now I am all caught up. I was worried about the show at first because Kei's humor is cringe early on, but you eventually get used to it. The premise of the show is interesting because you don't really have a sports anime with this premise and it's usually the reverse we get . The show gets better as it goes on, so you have to survive the first couple of episodes, but being able to binge made the early episodes easier to digest. Also, I felt the show does a good job teaching you some of the basic of the sports and it seems to be well written so far with character backstories. I wasn't expecting to have the story we had in the past 2 episodes.

Bartender: Glass of God has been the indicative of what a great Adult Cast SoL show is. So much real shyt and life lessons in the show that is easy to relate in numerous ways. For instance in episode 8.
It showed the paths for Yuri, Kyoko and Ken. For Yuri, she won the competition, which is a really good moment. I've got to give credit to Ken for not giving up on his dreams. I do wonder has he really grown up to have more self-confidence. Because that's the key.
I loved seeing the journey Kyoko has been on. Minami was there when she first started getting into bartending. His quote here that the bartender's job is to make the guest feel happier when they leave. Then we see Minami as Kyoko's guest for the final drink she made at that bar. You can tell that while he will miss her he is definitely proud of how far she has become. Giving her a vital final lesson, a bartender should always be looking to evolve and improve. Great stuff as always.

Disney back with their 0 marketing with the anime they simulcast like with Undead Unluck. Adaptation has pretty good so far cutting the fat of the early content where the manga as still finding itself. Anime should find its groove at the start of the 2nd half of the season.
Despite being a 200+ chapter series it’s one of the better WSJ series atm.

Whoever's been running this Adult Swim anime revamp needs to get fired, they already lost people making 3 trash extra seasons of FLCL that no one asked for.
If this superman shyt doesn't land that entire staff needs the boot

Dungeon Meshi Ep 21
Man I have to feel bad for Kabru to have lost his family and home. So it is clear that the elves' goal is to prevent the worst case scenario. But the issue is that they are fine sacrificing a few lives for the majority in the long run. Which is understandable, but from Kabru's perspective the people who died were so important to him. He doesn't want that to happen again. I respect that he raised his voice against them.
It's kind of creepy Laios has been hearing that voice for as long as he didn't without mentioning it. They meet up with Dagal's grandson, and they have been cursed by the Dungeon Master. Dagal blamed himself for turning the Dungeon Master to use Black magic and given how much people fear it today it makes understanding Dagal's regrets very easy. Man just the fact that these people try to live out normal lives despite being immortal and not being able to do simple things like eat is sad. Now their hopes lies in Laios, well him being the hero of this story is different from would you would expect.
Despite all of these plot points coming up, this show continues stays true to itself and keeps the fun vibe that it has had since episode 1.
