Not sure, but how shyt is going I can see that happening. He is the only one trying to create a Utopia. Although he has been Pacifist, he needs to develop the Mamba Mentality to revive Shion, Gobzo and the Familia. Which he will, but he is no longer that former human who caught a blade on the street.

That last fight though..... I was assuming it went down like that cuz he got caught slipping in the dome that dropped his power level a bit.
Like wouldn’t in a straight up fight with no handicap he could’ve still won?
Also, I thought regarding the demon lords.... he was along the lines with about as strong as they were.
Like kinda of a wash or stalemate and that’s why no one really straight up ran up on the other.
fighting straight up is for junior varsity in that universe
if barriers worked so well against beings that mattered, then demon lords wouldn't be chilling running their own countries - they'd be using those all the time. even with the dragon they had to beat him down with a hero THEN seal him.
rimuru wasn't fukking with any of the demon lords yet and shizu's student would've washed him straight up anyways. that wasn't a fight, it was an execution. someone weaker could've done the job just as easy
Watched eps. 7 and 8 of Jobless Reincarnation, it would be a much better anime if they gave more focus to the political intrigue and the fantasy parts over the
