Imma just throw my two cents out there on this ongoing One Piece shyt.....



Luffy is one of the very few anime protagonists that have legitimate black air force energy while not being sociopaths.

Luffy doesn't really care about your sad background that caused you to become a monster. He gives you straight hands, destroys all of your plans, then maybe you can be cool after he put the fear of God in you.

Him, Tanjiro, Eren one of the few real ones out there.

Luffy is the GOAT shonen protagonist. I knew it the moment he put that straw hat on Nami's head. She tried to play him then in her darkest hour begged him for help and he basically was like "you fam I got you" and she been on the team since. The way his squad just fell in line when he was like "let's go." That was the moment I knew.

This was one of the greatest moments in all of anime. It just says all that needs to be said of Luffy. He does it his way.

Eren the only one who was willing to do what needs to be done for the survival of his people in his own group. Luffy and Tanjiro would do the same

You telling me Luffy wouldn't be catching every body in the world if his whole crew was in danger and that was what he needed to do?

This episode was tough.

I knew the MC felt some type of way about langa getting all the attention and shine. He taught Langa how to skate and everything. and now langa is the top dog..its like when the student surpasses the master. When they called the MC " the one who is not langa" That got to hurt.

But on the bright side....with every episode we are getting closer in arresting the pedo ,ADAM.
I don't know what he did yet but......

I'm not quite sure what expectations I had for the Kishibe Rohan series but the fact it just tenfolded JoJo fukkery is truly something to see.

I just finished Stardust Crusaders. It's alright. I'm very surprised that JoJo is one of the few anime/manga that has black people as characters that have their own agency, whether good or bad. They're people and aren't just plot devices.

Way too much character development and death, Good guys taking L's..... There is some depth here.

The convo was about folks talking how DS is its own monster so it doesn't fit into a modern big 3 category, and someone argued that if OP could be part of the big 3 then so could DS since OP was (and still is) in its own ball league as far as sales go.

You responded that DS did some of the craziest numbers ever in 2020 like that set it apart, and you're not wrong. But again, OP has been setting crazy records for nigh 20 years. So you can't really put DS on a pedestral and argue that it's without comparison to competition and not do the same with OP.

I know some of you brehs live in the Highlander universe where there can be only one, but any sensible person can recognize that both these series are absolute once-in-a-generation monsters.
