Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

This is exactly how I feel about a lot of horror movies. And a lot of people I run into will say they're "lit". I'm like nah you're just a sadistic fukk.

Reminds me a girl I met who recommended I watch Elfen Lied. I watched it all the way through but the entire time all I could think about is how fukked up she is a human being. And months after that she proved me right with some of the fukkery I found out about her.

Is it just dark twisted fukkery or is there an actual plot/justifications for the madness happening?

He was a healer and using his ability broke his mind because he experienced what the people he was healing went through. He begged them not to make him do it so they drugged him raped him (both men and women raping him) made him heal people. When he heals them he can copy their powers. The hero team he was a part of tries and fails to take down a demon and he does it himself using the copied powers takes this gem and goes back in time loses his memories and uses some sort of fairy to give him magic to get them back.

At this point he could have just left all that shyt behind and started over but he instead drugs himself with wild mushrooms to begin to build up a tolerance then purposely subjects himself to the same mistreatment so he can get "revenge."

I mean how stupid is that? He doesn't use the knowledge of his past life to gamble and become wealthy and live a better life. He choses to relive his same miserable life just so he can torture and rape people that did that to him. It's basically incel power fantasy the show and the protagonist is a complete moron.

My pops had me watch John Wick 3 with him. I've never seen any of those movies before and I'll never see any more of them. This is on par with that. It's just a bunch of mindless senseless violence and when it's all over you just ask what the point was of it all? I know my taste are weird but I'm not really into violence for the sake of violence.

I don't watch horror movies either. They're also violence for the sake of violence and that's not entertaining.

If you haven't watched it skip it. Seems like the kinda shyt somebody that walks in a mall and opens fire writes in their personal notebook that the cops find after they've killed like 10 people then themselves.

The writer had to be in a dark place mentally to conceive such fukkery. It's like in the ballpark of watching those old Faces of Death compilations where they show compilations of people dying on camera.

I saw a episode or 2 Already and then saw a YouTube clip that was a year ago talk about a scene that hasn’t happened yet that had me like WTF he even drew it stick figures to give a idea and whenever that episode airs lord have mercy cuz

I don’t plan on watching anymore at this time cuz other shyt interest me maybe a certain episodes for shock factor at best

Atleast wick made sense for people who are really into the chereography and fight scenes, appearances from well known martial arts film legends, so on and so forth. There's a lot of overlap in people who like Wick, Bruce Lee, Bond, Blood & Bone, stuff like that. It is senseless violence, but there's continuity there in the story and a clear draw. I say this as someone who has not fully watched any wick film and isn't a fan of the series, but I acknowledge this from afar.

But most horror movies are flat out nonsense to me.

I do play some horror games but movies are mostly a no go.

It's like The Slim Shady LP. I listened for the pure shock value of what Eminem was saying and once I got beyond that the actual subject matter was terrible and there was never a reason to revisit it.

I still feel like the general concept could work if divorced from the rape and violence. Other shows have managed. Shield Hero and Arifureta both pull off that they wronged me I'll get my revenge by besting them way better.
