Claymore was dope as fukk. Wish we got another season just to see how shyt evolved with that one boss level nikka at the end.

With how open-ended it was, I searched out the manga out of curiosity and... it turns out they pulled a Gantz

Only difference is, Clay actually did a good job of an impromptu ending, whereas Gantz was nonsensical trash.

That said, those last 3-4 episodes of Clay were made up and the story was only a 1/3rd complete relative to the manga. I read like 20 chapters yesterday and this shyt basically is the Gantz manga (which was fiya) with the S-class artwork and DBZ fukkery.

Finished this week's FIRE FORCE. Swear to fukking god Station 8 better start drug testing Arthur. Dude is blessed with the 3rd Generation, but he starts tripping hard during battles. I don't think his plasma-shyt isn't part of the issue, dude just starts thinking he is fighting snakes.

Also what I love about this anime, is that with Ogun and Charon, they got black characters that fit well in the universe and not stereotypes, plus this week Charon added some depth that makes me admire him as for a 2nd Generation, the guy is able to stand toe to toe with his smarts but also not being a total cultist.

Arthur's delusions about being a knight controlling his power levels is pretty brilliant.

They're doing a good job showing that the White Clads aren't all on the same level. The pillars are wild and close to being power drunk (Haumea is full on power drunk) so they need to be controlled by their guardians, but they have different ideas on how to accomplish their goals as well. They're becoming a lot more layered.

Kaede, Kohaku, Kagome's family remember who Inuyasha and crew were. Kohaku even recalls his time traveling with Sesshomaru. So there hasn't been a memory wipe for everyone. Seems to only be the case for the three kids which probably has something to do with their pearl.

Sesshomaru left his kids in the wild when they were newborns, according to Kaede. But her perspective may be unreliable since they couldn't survive on their own unless someone took care of them. Raises further questions of who is the mother and what happened to her. What was Sesshomaru's motive. "Rite of courage and cowardice" feels too simple for him.

Setsuna knew who Kaede was as she asked to stay in her care. As if someone directed her there. Someone had to be helping those twins along the way. She's also shown to have Sesshomaru's fur thing before she goes to Kaede.

Towa's power was unlocked after the pearl shined, so it's clear that the source of their demon power comes from that. Which then makes sense why demons want to take it from him. Similar to the shards.

Someone appears to be inside the tree of ages. Could be Kagome or Rin. Can't say I like the idea of either character being trapped somewhere, but maybe its not actually them and is some sort of spirit. Kikyo is also making an appearance in some form next episode with a task for the kids. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

These nikkas are trying to make you care about characters they've kept in the periphery the entire series. None of them have their own arcs, there's no investment, and the one with the most depth is the villain.

I respect a writer trying to progress the entire cast but it's got to be earned.

I binge-watched Claymore this week...

That was some dark medieval magical girls shyt

Them blonde bytches were gettin worked

Claymore went hard as fukk

I still gotta finish the anime, but its the first Manga that I really powered through and finished in a short amount of time.

May as well have been Berserk-lite at many points, but they brought all together and the ride was dope from start to finish. Doesn't get enough love anymore imo

After 3 Episodes, I have to say, Yashahime has already stood out in some aspects. With that being said, there is shyt that you need to watch all of Inuyasha to grasp what the fukk they are doing. More action oriented so far than Inuyasha by far.

That being said, I think there is a sense of Back to the Future/Chrono Trigger element to this, where Towa is going to fukk up the timelines. As in the previous series of Inuyasha, you had no demons really except for the Noh Mask, but now, you have demons popping up in the present.
