First episode of Akudama drive has my attention mainly because of the visuals and it being cyber punk. Its giving me psycho pass, dangan ronpa vibes
I see y’all boys talking about sports anime. nikkas need to pay homage to the goat which is EYE-SHIELD 21. When Sena finally dashed out in the arena without his mask.
Lmao i never heard that story. Dont misinterpret Panther tho, dude was a wholesome character and ended up being the best player in the series. Went to the league out of HS like Lebron. His character arc was tho. Tried to be some mini jackie Robinson shyt warming the heart of a racist ass coach holding him back.I used to enjoy eyeshield21 until it became downright racist af. I heard its because the author went abroad and got his ass beat by a black guy.
This nikka had a character whos super ability is being black.
Tenchi Muyo was trash. We were just too young to know at the time.
Started a re-watch of The Irregular at Magic High School. This show flat out doesn't care about being entertaining.

Lots of sports anime that have black characters seem to have this trope tho. Johnson from One Outs, oliva from baki and the black dude from Ao-Ishi come to mind.
Yashahime Episode 2 confirms speculation Rumiko isn't writing the story. None of her usual tropes were there. That's a positive for progression since she loved to stall things with comedy and teasing. It's plausible for someone to hate original Inuyasha and like this.
New age rivalry between Setsuna and Moroha is fun. Not quite like Inuyasha and Sesshomaru - more playful, but restores a similar feeling.
Moroha is both more skilled and more likable than her father. Inuyasha was a grump (albeit for good reason), Moroha is just having fun out there.
Towa is an oddity Not like Sesshomaru, her rumored mother, the Higurashi family that raised her. Didn't get to see her sword abilities, but she does have hand to hand combat which is cool
Older Kohaku made an appearance. One of the better designs Rumiko has done for a guy, hopefully has a major role in the story.
The ending theme is growing on me. Now that it's clear that show is taking a different direction, makes sense for the music to change a bit too. Less sentimental more upbeat.
I fukk with that Tenchi lmaoI can honestly say I've never met a single Tenchi Muyo fan. Even in my high school anime club, 20 years ago, no one fukked with it. Lots of dudes fukked with Teknoman and Sailor moon though. Oh My Goddess was also popular for some reason.

I wonder in a sense if Sesshoumaru was already entrapped in the Silver pearl, as the girls were alone in the forest at such a young age to fend for themselves.
Yeah the main character sucks at casting magic but he can negate anything anybody else cast and knows where anybody is always and instantly knows what spell they're casting.is that one with the dude and his sister on sus shyt.
