finished shield hero :banderas: some of these characters are so gullible.. Myne is up there with Rachel & Griffith as most hated characters, what a bytch.

I fw Shield Hero heavy, that show had me mad af for Naofumi. I was just waiting for him to say F it and kill them all :lolbron:they were all a bunch of dikkheads. The blonde hero was such an annoying simp too :cape:

I thought it was tight how they portrayed the whole rape accusation too cuz that's some real shyt and it could really F your life up. I never expected an anime to talk about that tho :mjlol:

Ton of top selling manga series been ending recently. Demon Slayer just ended this week, Promised Neverland seems like it'll be done by June, AoT was supposed to wrap up by the end of this year, now Fire Force too? Damn... only series I really care about of any of those is AoT but that's a lot of big industry movers all going out around the same time. Chainsaw Man gonna hold the fort down tho, THAT's a show that needs a well done anime adaptation STAT :wow:

Need that Bleach revival to hurry it up too; Boruto and ol' shytty Toei animated One Piece lookin sad out here. Shonen Jump anime been :flabbynsick: status ever since Dragon Ball Super went on hiatus and stopped carrying their asses. Hope the Rona ain't shelved the chances of the Moro arc getting adapted indefinitely :mjcry:

Yeah we're in this weird transitional period where alot of the current era shonen jump stuff are wrapping up. Which I think is a good thing leaves room for new shyt.

I'd say check out the jujutsu Kaisen anime that's suppose to to drop this fall. It's really good battle shonen so far. It reminds me a bit of bleach mixed with a hxh type power system.

Chainsaw man fa sho gon get a anime but it's too early for it rn.

And I don't think we gon see more Dragon Ball til the next movie come out. They've been hush mouth about Dragon Ball since broly sohh I don't know what's going on with that.

Everything else is on haitus or ending too. Dark days lie ahead :mjcry:

Apocrypha is clutch and just as beautiful animation wise, you're in good hands. :salute:

if you look at my posts about it, I'm only talking about how great the english dub and the sound is.

I think the high reviews come from the story turning the tropes on their heads.

The girly girl doesn't want shyt to do with love and is the standoffish one, the tomboy-ish girl is swooning and thirsting.

I'm sure it played into a lot of folks dreams and desires.

edit: I gave it 4/5

I concur the dub is great that’s what I watched and the premise and maturity is real good

I feel I would love it more so from source material probably just felt like it dragged tho
For me the plot itself is outstanding cuz i can see real life people relating to it

yeah it definitely dragged.

I never read the source material, but it seemed like it was a little TOO faithful.

but I couldn't stop. It was like I was listening to it while staring blankly at the screen :mjcry:

Castle of Cagliostro was great from start to finish It seems like the best entry point to the Lupin franchise due to the Ghibili animation quality and only being 90 minutes long.

Most of series 1 followed a pattern of Lupin being in danger and creating some ridiculous plan to escape harm. Here you finally get to see him pressed and have to overcome serious adversity. Change of pace from the usual stuff.

Already thought Zenigata was a great character and he's made to look even more noble in the film. Every other officer, leader, person in power is corrupt but him. There's a scene where he stands up the United Nations to argue for a case and gets shot down because they're all more concerned with power than justice. He instead winds up tag teaming with Lupin (sometimes indirectly) to corner the villain. Lupin gets the same treatment. You already know he's got a heart of gold, but I don't know if he puts his life on the line and sacrifices himself for the greater good like he does in this film. He comes out looking like a hero by the end.

Definitely something I'll watch over and over again in the future and get the blu ray at some point of.
