I mean its dope, but I feel like its a lil overrated. Like its done really well, but nothing from it stands out or is truly groundbreaking, but I also think its one of those anime that is easy for casuals to get into. Concept is simple enough too.

Can't really grasp if it's under, over or properly rated because I haven't read much on the reaction for TPN outside of this thread. I know it's popular in Japan, but I'm talking quality wise, didn't know it was considered "ground breaking". But the fact that it's a simple concept with enough mysteries and demonic shyt should be enough of a reason to understand why it's so loved, I think.

I do feel Shirai's strengths are when the story focuses on smaller stuff with huge stakes, because that's when these fukked up children lives have you in the edge of your seat. Everytime he shows us how big this whole deal is, it kinda loses me. He's hasn't been able to transition to the "bigger picture" side of the story as well as Isayama did with Attack on Titan. Still, this final arc has had great moments too and it doesn't take away from the incredible shyt that was reading the first 3/4 of the story.
Why?:mjtf:

Why do some of y’all like Promised Neverland?:dahell:

What can be done to convince y’all to not?:picard:

I want to save yall

If you already feeling :picard: about it you gonna faint at what's to come :russ:

For some reason

I had a dream about THAT HunterxHunter fight that hasn't been animated yet :damn: it was in black and white like the manga

I shed s single thugged out tear :mjcry:

:wow: Goku and Vegeta could never

Naruto and sauce would get booed out the building if they tried to follow up that scrap

Anyone still holding out for the anime needs to wake up, it may never happen in your lifetime. That fight is some GOAT level shyt

Clearly better than Netero vs Mereum or any of the other fights in the anime, not even close

I've never understood why they haven't done an OVA or movie with that fight. It was 100% a side story Togashi did for the manga so it can easily stand on it's own. It's basically a perfect money grab/fan service if they animate it as a solo piece.

That list is missing Thunderbolt and G no Reconguista.

Right, I watched Thunderbolt and The Original Mobile Suit Gundam at the same time. Plus is the third act of Thunderbolt even finished? I've only seen Bandit Flower and December Sky. Watching Thunderbolt is kind of what triggered all of this.

I realized I had forgotten so much of what I saw as a kid. Watching this as you get older you so much more of an appreciation for it. The Original Mobile Suit Gundam is absolutely incredible on the rewatch and it was made in fukking 1979.

Is G no Reconguista even the UC?

Yeah, it is. Like 5000 years after it. It's goes: UC > CC > RC. It's all part of the same universe, same timeline.
